Conference Overview
|
Join us in Las Vegas in March for the 8TH ANNUAL COMMUNITY ONCOLOGY JOURNAL’S ONCOLOGY PRACTICE SUMMIT. Our chairs and expert faculty focus on clinical, palliative/supportive care and practical matters of concern to community-based oncologists and their practice teams. The conference will provide up-to-date clinical and practice information needed to deliver the highest quality oncology care to patients in small, medium, and large community-based practices and explore issues affecting oncology care in the United States. Formerly titled formerly named COMMUNITY ONCOLOGY JOURNAL’S ANNUAL COMMUNITY ONCOLOGY CONFERENCE, ONCOLOGY PRACTICE SUMMIT takes a practical “how to” approach to key issues in oncology focusing on clinical therapeutics, palliative care and practice management. |
An outstanding faculty will address specific treatments and their implementation in community practice, side effects and their effective management. Practice management challenges and ways to navigate them are explored. Clinical sessions provide the latest developments in treatment strategies. Supportive care sessions will help clinicians gain important insights symptom management and other supportive care issues that are important in the management of patients with cancer. Practice management sessions explore issues that are unique to the community oncologist. |
Interactive discussions provide perspective on what these strategies mean for community practice. Benefit from expert guidance on practice management and the techniques that will help your practice thrive. Robust panel discussions on the impact of healthcare reform and controversies in patient care will engage and involve you. |
The 8TH ANNUAL COMMUNITY ONCOLOGY JOURNAL’S ONCOLOGY PRACTICE SUMMIT is a valuable resource and forum on the clinical and practical issues that matter to you and your patients. |
